lessons from 2010

- take risks (put yourself out there, be transparent, be open to new opportunities, people, experiences)
- prepare for the worst
- hope for the best

    I would add to this in retrospect:
    -know yourself
    -know what you want and what you need
    -try not to have expectations.

    things work out.
